New look&feel revealed for Air Italy Frequent Flyer Programme - @MyAirItalyClub
Air Italy is pleased to reveal the new look and feel for its revamped loyalty programme along with its new name, @MyAirItalyClub.
The new moniker – @MyAirItalyClub – reflects two key elements, maximum synergy with the new airline brand, and the digital nature of the club’s positioning.
All regulations, characteristics and benefits of the previous loyalty programme – and, above all, the same AVIOS currency, as well as the same accumulation and redemption mechanisms of AVIOS – will still be in place.
Additionally, all those who are already registered will, from today, with the new programme in effect, simply see their AVIOS accumulated so far shown as a Welcome Bonus.
Chief Operating Officer of Air Italy, Rossen Dimitrov, said: "Our renewed loyalty programme reconfirms our commitment to our loyalty programme members and to the evolving nature of communication, particularly with respect to travel.
“Our dedicated loyalty support team is ready to field all enquiries via the new dedicated social media channel thereby providing our customers with an interface that they already use for many other reasons every day. Enhancing customer experience means enabling the smoothest simplest solutions and this new positioning will allow us to support and assist our loyalty programme members in all phases of their journey, right from booking up to and after returning home.”
The programme levels and cards have also undergone an overhaul, with main tiers now being available, starting from @MyAirItalyClub WHITE, rising through @MyAirItalyClub SILVER to @MyAirItalyClub GOLD. In addition, there is @MyAirItalyClub CORPORATE, dedicated to the business segment and company users.
The services provided for @MyAirItalyClub SILVER members include reserved check-in desks, the use of Fast Track to allow rapid access to security checks, priority boarding and free pre-assignment of standard seats.
For @MyAirItalyClub GOLD members, in addition to the advantages dedicated to Silver, there are a series of additional benefits, to make every trip simple and convenient. Baggage allowance for GOLD members is up to 32 kg for check-in baggage, while GOLD tier membership also comes with access to VIP Lounges, and free seat reservation in the first rows of seats or in those with larger legroom,
The “Earlier Flight Service” allows passengers to prepone flights on the same day of departure at no additional cost. @MyAirItalyClub members simply need to go to the reserved check-in counter at least one hour before the departure of the flight they wish to take.
Furthermore, all the advantages of the card are extended to an accompanying person, as well as a number of further benefits such as the priority baggage claim service, priority waiting list and a series of advantages for the transportation of sports equipment, pets and Special Assistance.
To welcome the new look and feel of the loyalty programme, for all those who are already registered or who will do during the launch phase, an important promotion is underway, regarding the newly launched Air Italy routes to North America, with double Avios being offered for those flying to Los Angeles, San Francisco or Toronto.
