Morena Bronzetti appointed as Vice President Sales and Distribution
Air Italy is delighted to announce that Morena Bronzetti has been appointed as Vice President Sales and Distribution for Air Italy starting April 8th, 2019.
Mrs. Bronzetti joins Air Italy with more than 20 years’ experience as a commercial airline professional having spent extended periods of time during her career with both Alitalia and Qatar Airways, including most recently as the Country Manager for France and Benelux at Qatar Airways.
In her new role, Mrs. Bronzetti will be responsible for overseeing direct and indirect sales, Air Italy’s sales network in the United States, managing the relationships with the General Sales Agencies representing the company abroad, as well as formulating the airline’s distribution strategy.

Mrs. Bronzetti joins Air Italy from Qatar Airways where she was most recently Country Manager France and Benelux, prior to which she held various Country Manager roles with Qatar Airways and Alitalia, including UK and Ireland, Italy and Switzerland, as well as several other commercial positions during her commercial airline career.
Air Italy is an Italian airline fully owned by AQA Holding (51% Alisarda and 49% Qatar Airways), with its headquarters in Olbia and main operating base in Milan Malpensa.
In March 2018 the Company started operation as Air Italy.
Beginning in May 2018, Air Italy added new domestic routes from Milan to Rome, Naples, Palermo, Catania, Lamezia Terme and Cagliari (March 2019) all scheduled for connection to its newest long-range destinations including New York, Miami, Bangkok, Delhi, Los Angeles and San Francisco (April 2019), Toronto (May 2019).
Its network also includes direct international flights from Milan Malpensa to Accra, Cairo, Dakar, Lagos, Sharm El-Sheikh, and, from its Olbia Costa Smeralda hub, year-round scheduled services to Rome, Milan Linate, Milan Malpensa and Bologna and seasonal ones to a wide range of domestic and regional destinations.
Air Italy’s fleet is currently comprised of three Boeing 737 MAX, five Boeing 737 NG, five Airbus A330.
