Increase of frequencies to Miami and Toronto from Milan

Milan-Toronto adds two flights to become six times weekly and Milan-Miami rises to five frequencies per week from four

Air Italy is pleased to announce for its upcoming summer season an increase in frequencies for its direct Milan-Miami flights as well as its new Milan-Toronto service, which will be inaugurated on May 6th, all due to popular demand.

Rossen Dimitrov, Air Italy Chief Operating Officer said: “Just two months after opening up sales for Toronto, thanks to market demand, we are delighted to now increase the frequency on our new route in advance of its inaugural flight from four times to six times a week.

“We are also very satisfied with the results of our new Milan–Miami service that was started only last June, and so for this route we will also be increasing the frequency for this summer, going up to five times a week from four.

“These expansions are a testament to our business plan and product offering, and are simply in response to the great support which we have been receiving from our customers.”

Air Italy’s new Milan-Toronto service, which commences on May 6th,, will be departing from Milan six times weekly, offering customers a service every day except Thursday, adding Tuesday and Saturday to the initial schedule up until October 25th.

Similarly, Milan-Miami starting from April 15th, is being increased from four to five times weekly for the whole summer season.

All Air Italy intercontinental destinations are served by the carrier via Milan Malpensa, with seamless connections from Rome Fiumicino, Catania, Palermo, Naples, Lamezia Terme, Cagliari (from March 31st) and Olbia.

All Air Italy’s services between Milan Malpensa and the North America, are being operated with Air Italy’s new long-haul Airbus A330-200, which offers up to 24 seats in the exclusive Business Class cabin making it is possible to fly with maximum comfort in fully lie-flat seats with signature Italian cuisine accompanied by a selection of Italian fine wines and champagne, Wi-Fi service, along with an extensive inflight entertainment service and the personalized attention from its on-board staff.

The Economy Class cabin with 228 seats also provides Air Italy’s guests with highly personalized service, WiFi connectivity, carefully crafted Italian cuisine and a wide selection of entertainment.

On the new domestic flights from Malpensa, Air Italy offers in Business Class a welcome drink service, breakfast or snacks, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and in Economy Class a snack with a choice of coffee, tea, soft drinks and fruit juices, all served by its highly attentive crew.
