Air Italy short-medium haul summer 2019 on sale

Olbia, December 4th, 2018 – Air Italy opens the sales of the short-medium haul network for next spring-summer season 2019. The Company increases the direct connections between Italy and Cairo and offers Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt while opening the sales of Senegal, Ghana and Nigeria.

Cairo, Sharm El Sheikh, Dakar, Accra and Lagos are served by Air Italy with multi-weekly frequencies to and from Milan Malpensa, and via Milan also to and from Catania, Palermo, Rome, Naples, Lamezia Terme and Olbia. Excellent connections exist also to the USA, connecting with the hugely popular direct flights Milan-New York and Milan-Miami launched in the summer of 2018.

Air Italy connects Milan Malpensa already with Egypt thanks to five weekly flights to Cairo, which will be increased to daily operation starting March 31st. Additionally in Egypt, the popular Red Sea resort of Sharm El Sheikh, is available three times a week both in winter and in spring and summer.

Senegal is connected by a direct flight between Milan Malpensa and Dakar. Continuing from March 31, five weekly flights are confirmed and departure from Italy will be daily from Monday to Friday. Ghana and Nigeria can be reached with four weekly flights to Accra and Lagos, every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, extending the service already offered in the current winter season.

Sardinia network from and to Olbia is available on sale with five destinations offered. Starting from March 31st the Olbia-Bologna route will be increased from two to six weekly frequencies, to grow up to 9 frequencies per week from the 1st of June during the peak season. Venice-Olbia six weekly flight will start from June 2 as well as Turin-Olbia and Verona direct flight to Esmeralda Coast (daily from July 1st). Finally, Bergamo-Olbia will be offered from July 1st six times a week.
