Air Italy is delighted to announce its attendance at Milano Pride from June 27 to June 29 as Official Carrier and Platinum Sponsor of this year’s festival.

Chief Operating Officer of Air Italy, Rossen Dimitrov, said: “Air Italy is clear in its focus as an innovative and contemporary airline focused on providing an exemplary customer experience. Inherent within that – and as illustrated through our tagline – Imagine The World Differently – we must support and drive awareness of our core brand values, which include inclusivity and freedom of choice. By promoting the beauty of our differences, Air Italy will continue to Imagine The World Differently.

“Our support for the LGBTQ+ community is demonstrated through our participation in a number of key Pride festivals such as the Toronto Pride, a city we connect directly to Milan six times weekly, and at Milano Pride, the city serving our operational hub.

“Thanks to our partnership with Milano Pride, we were also recently able to provide our support for Sofia Pride, which was attended by a delegation from Milano Pride earlier this month – all of which reaffirms our commitment to championing Pride around the world.”

During the weekend of June 27-29, Air Italy will be participating in Milano Pride with multiple activities all aiming to showcase the airline’s support for the values of equality, inclusiveness and freedom. The Air Italy stand will be in Piazza Oberdan, from 6pm until midnight each day.

All those who will visit the Company's reserved area, will be given access to promotional fares to fly Air Italy from Milan Malpensa to Cagliarii to attend Cagliari Pride on July 6, or simply to benefit from a holiday in Sardinia.

Air Italy’s stand will feature a performance by the famous, irreverent and comic drag queen La Wanda Gastrica, with her group on June 28 at 11 pm.

For the closing day of Milano Pride on June 29, Air Italy will also participate in the main Parade with its own delegation.
